OUR BACKSTORY
Founder Andy Knight entered the creative industry in 2004, starting in Melbourne’s fashion scene where the pace was fast and the standards were high. Covering major runway events including L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, he spent years learning how to work under pressure while delivering work that held its own in highly competitive environments.
That early period shaped the foundation of his approach. The transition from film to digital processes, long days, constant movement, and real expectations from real clients. It was not about theory. It was about showing up and getting it done properly.
MELBOURNE
As opportunities grew, so did the scope of the work. Andy went on to own and operate three studios across Melbourne, working across commercial, fashion, editorial, and brand campaigns.
As a certified Canon professional, his work extended beyond one city, regularly travelling between Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, and internationally for destination projects.
Alongside production work, Andy stepped into the advertising space, working with highly demographic tuned campaigns connected to some of Australia’s largest retailers and alongside their Marketing Managers. This experience refined his understanding of what actually drives results, not just what looks good.
APPLE INC.
The pace changed when he had his first child and joining Apple Inc.
As a Creative Pro Facilitator, presenting workshops on photography, video, and digital workflows. meant standing in front of large audiences, breaking down complex ideas into simple, usable systems, and helping business owners understand how to use creative tools properly became a key part of his skillset.
Knights Creative was built from this combined experience.
Not from one discipline, but from the overlap of production, advertising, education, and real client work.
BUNDABERG
Now based in Bundaberg, the focus is simple. Help local businesses present themselves properly across video, photography, and digital platforms. No overcomplication. No unnecessary noise. Just clear, considered work that reflects the quality of the business behind it.
There is a strong emphasis on working closely with clients, understanding how their business operates, and making sure what is produced actually aligns with how they want to be seen.
Knights Creative also carries a long term vision for the region. Creating opportunities for local talent, mentoring the next generation, and building a stronger creative presence within Bundaberg.
